Aaron Shaw is an Autonomous Control Systems Engineer and Residential Contractor with a B.S. in Computer Engineering.

He brings more than a decade of residential project experience together with the discipline of engineering and validating control systems for autonomous machines. That combination shapes every Mt Olympus system: practical inside the walls, resilient in operation and understandable at handoff.

01How does the free consultation work?+

We spend 30–45 minutes learning about the home, what is already installed, what is frustrating you and what is realistic for the budget. There is no obligation and no high-pressure pitch.

02Do I need all ten domains?+

Almost certainly not. The ten domains are a planning framework. Most households begin with two or three—often networking, security, lighting or sound—and expand only when it creates real value.

03Can you work with equipment I already own?+

Yes. Working equipment stays when it fits the architecture. If something limits reliability or is no longer supported, we explain the tradeoff before recommending replacement.

04Can you design for an existing home or new construction?+

Yes. Existing homes begin with a field assessment of pathways, wiring and equipment worth preserving. New construction can begin from plans so infrastructure, controls and other trades are coordinated before walls close.

05What makes Mt Olympus different?+

An engineer designs the system, local operation is treated as a requirement, and the final handoff includes the documentation needed to understand and maintain what you own.
