Smart locks use local protocols (Z-Wave, Thread) rather than WiFi for reliability. Every system maintains manual override capability—technology should enhance security, not create new failure modes.

For dedicated listening spaces, we specify appropriate amplification and speaker pairings. The goal is audio that enhances your environment without demanding attention.

Lutron Caseta and RadioRA3 systems offer unmatched reliability—they simply don't fail. Switches look and work like normal switches, so anyone can use them. Motorized shades are one of the most impactful smart home upgrades: they improve comfort, protect furnishings from UV, and can reduce energy costs significantly through automated solar management.
Networking & Infrastructure

Every smart home needs at minimum a UPS for networking equipment—when power flickers, your network stays up. Whole-home surge protection at the panel prevents catastrophic equipment damage. For extended backup, we specify appropriate generator sizing and ensure proper transfer switch installation. Battery systems can integrate with solar for true energy independence.

Mt Olympus does not host, store, or access your family's data. You own everything.
